Driskill earned his Master’s Degree from the Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University in New York in 1989. He was named the John J. McCloy Fellow by the school and the American Council on Germany and reported on environmental issues in a then-divided Germany.

 
Awards & Education

Matthew Driskill began his higher education at the University of Oklahoma before seeking his fortune in the oilfields of Oklahoma. Realizing that school is not such a bad gig, he returned to university, earning his Bachelor’s of Arts degree at the University of Central Oklahoma and Master’s Degree at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.
